TechIDManager can be self-hosted. This is required by many different types of companies that need PAM, access to client systems, and complete control of the data. Physical hosting requirements, data ownership, and asset control are just a few reasons why a company might want to host their PAM solution on their own infrastructure or hardware. We support that extra level of zero trust and security.
To self-host TechIDManager requires 2 servers. They are the Management Console (MC) and the Central Host (CH).
MC Minimum Specs:
- AWS-T3.Medium (equivalent or better)
- SQL Server Express 2019
- Windows Server 2019
- SSL Certificate for the DNS name of the server
- 50 GB drive space
- Reachable via HTTPS from any manager’s computer
CH Minimum Specs:
- AWS-T3.Medium (equivalent or better)
- SQL Server Express 2019
- Windows Server 2019
- SSL Certificate for the DNS name of the server
- 100 GB drive space
- Reachable via HTTPS from MC, any tech’s computer, any agent’s computer
Support@TechIDManager.com needs to know the DNS names of the two servers to build the releases of the required software and licensing for those servers. They are usually named something like ch.yourdomain.com and mc.yourdomain.com, but they can be named anything that works.
